Rustic meets Navy Luxe at Anglesey Country House Tros Yr Afon

-Rustic meets luxe -

Myself and some local wedding creatives were inspired by a beautiful country venue named Tros Yr Afon meaning 'Over the river', an 18th Century Manor House on the isle of Anglesey. This beautiful house in the middle of the woods, surrounded by coast and country inspired this theme, Rustic meets Luxe, with the Navy of the sea and the beauty and luxury elements entwining with the rusticness of the manor and the free and country feel. A popular venue amongst wanderous and whimsical brides and grooms who want the freedom of their doing the wedding their own way, but with a pure elegance you just couldn't capture in any old place. For the photos wanted to create a luxury, regal look but with a glam rustic feel, so we chose gold and navy blue for that opulent & luxurious look which really suited the warm wood tones of the venue.

The stationery was modern navy water wash and gold textured elements with a beautiful calligraphy finish.

The cake included features from the florals and stationery with lilac / blush roses and a water wash monogram on the middle tier.

We opted for statement florals in pretty shades of lilac, blush , golds and greenery to compliment the theme. Velvet runners , Navy candles with ornate gold holders really completed the look!

The bride wore a warm hued sparkling gown named Chad by Maggie Sottero which really complimented the luxurious feel we were aiming for and looked amazing on our model.

Make up was a russet pallet with warm coppers, glowing skin and blush lips. Complimented by a boho up-do with gorgeous sparkling rose gold head band.

The wedding band was a delicate gold band, handmade with sapphire stone which fitted perfectly to the theme.
